Noblesville Girls Softball News 🥎 📣 - 2024 - November

Softball Never Stops 🥎🙅🛑

Hello Noblesville Girls Softball Families!

What a year we had! We didn’t even have fields at this time last year! And now we’ve played 2 full seasons on them!

All of our fall seasons are mostly wrapped up! There’s a huge list of folks to thank that all play a different role in making our program successful, but first and foremost I’d like to thank our players; your daughters. They are the reason we do this! I love that they come out, have a good time, work through the tough times, and then show up again.

Everyone else:

  • Parents – Thanks for bringing your kids to practice and games! It’s a lot, I know!

  • Coaches – You're on the hook week after week to teach and mentor these girls. It’s not possible to do this without you.

  • Board – Your commitment is undeniable, and usually thankless. Thank you. There is literally no program, fields, signups, (the list goes on) without you. Thank you for your hard work this year! 🙏

I’m looking forward to seeing you all again next year! (BTW, spring 2025 registration opens on Dec 1!)

📈 Fields Update – Still Making Progress!

It’s hard to believe that at this point last year we didn’t even have any fields at all. We played around 350 games and had several hundreds of hours of practice on these fields this year.

Thank you so much to our partners at Noblesville Schools and Beaver Materials for their support this year, and of course to all our volunteers who spent time helping improve the fields as well.

While we made significant progress on the fields this year, we’re not done. Here is what’s on the short list of things we anticipate for next season:

  • Upgraded playing surface (more dirt, graded)

  • Fencing for dugouts

  • Fencing repairs made (backstops and side-fencing)

  • Weed treatment to prevent excessive growth on the fields

We’ll be working in the off-season to help ensure we’re getting a plan made for these improvements.

We’re looking this year to make significant progress toward our “forever home” plan. Still nothing solid to share yet, but when there is, we’ll share it with you!
