š„š¤Ø Choosing Equipment Ā
Picking the right equipment can be difficult. Whether youāre new to the sport or have been around for several years. Choosing the right size, quality, and of course style and color are all important for your daughter to be able to be her best (and safest!) on the field.Ā
Each player will need the following pieces of equipment:Ā
Fielding maskĀ
CleatsĀ
Glove/MittĀ
BatĀ
HelmetĀ
I find that Dickās Sporting Goods has a great set of resources for choosing equipment and offering all sorts of tips about softball and softball equipment. Be on the lookout for a coupon for Dickās Sporting Goods coming soon too!Ā
Also, we will have a āgear swapā at our team meet & greet on March 20. This a great place to bring your old gear and/or pick up someone elseās past year gear.Ā
š Wrapping UpĀ
A softball registration could be a great Valentineās day gift for your daughter! šĀ
š We still need age-group commissioners, coaches, and a sponsorship coordinator. If youāre interested in any of those or have any questions, reach out to Jon at [email protected].Ā
